The 3DREP(E) series is a 3-way proportional pressure reducing valve. Its maximum operating pressure is 100 bar and maximum flow rate is 15 L/min. It comes with an integrated amplifier and accepts ±10 V or 4–20 mA input signals. The mounting surface complies with ISO 4401 and the valve is widely used in industrial applications.

Applications

1. Injection Molding Machine (TOP 1, largest installed base)

Application positions:

Injection circuit: continuous regulation of injection pressure and multi-stage packing pressure
Ejector cylinder pressure control
Core pull/auxiliary circuit pressure regulation on small machines

Advantages: precise segmented pressure curve to reduce sink marks and flash; factory standard fitment on many original Demag and Krauss-Maffei injection machines.

2. Rubber Vulcanizing Press / Platen Vulcanizing Press

Controls cylinder pressure of vulcanizing platens to realize flexible pressure adjustment and segmented pressure holding, ensuring uniform density of rubber products.

3DREPE6 is standard on many small-to-medium vulcanizing hydraulic power units.

3. CNC Hydraulic Press Brake (second major application)

Function: independent pressure regulation for clamping cylinders!

Main ram of press brakes uses 4WREE/4WRPE proportional directional valves.

Clamping cylinders (sheet hold-down cylinders) mostly adopt 3DREPE. Clamping force adjusts dynamically according to sheet thickness to prevent sheet slipping.

Key distinction: press brake main ram = proportional directional valve; clamping cylinder = 3DREPE proportional pressure reducing valve.

4. Material Testing Machines & Pressure Test Benches

Small fatigue test benches and pressure simulation fixtures:

continuously simulate stepped and ramp pressure with closed-loop pressure control. Low flow demand, perfectly matching the flow rating of 3DREPE.

5. Die Casting Machines (small-to-medium cold-chamber die casting machines)

Pressure regulation for core-pulling mechanisms and auxiliary cylinders. Large main injection circuits usually require higher flow and do not use this valve; it is widely adopted on small auxiliary circuits.

6. Automated Fixtures & Hydraulic Jigs

Robotic hydraulic clamps and welding clamping fixtures:

clamping pressure adjustable according to workpiece material to avoid workpiece damage. Compact 3DREPE is easy to integrate into hydraulic manifolds.
